Chinese President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to Switzerland and was received by the Swiss Federal President Doris Leuthard. I (pictured between the two presidents) was mandated to interpret for her and the entire Federal Council.
July 2014
The entry into force of the Free Trade Agreement between Switzerland and China was officially celebrated in Basle. I had the task of interpreting for Federal Councilor Johann Schneider-Ammann.

As a long-standing Vice President of the Swiss-Chinese Association, I am committed to the mutual understanding, friendship and co-operation between Switzerland and China.
The Annual General Meeting of the Swiss-Chinese Association, led by its President Thomas Wagner, was attended by the Swiss Federal Councilor Doris Leuthard, ambassadors and other renowned personalities.

The President and board members of the Swiss-Chinese Association, including myself (1st from the right), attended the 60th anniversary celebration of the Chinese People’s Assocation for Friendship with Foreign Countries in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
